TOURISM VISA REQUIREMENTS

Requirements for a tourist visa can be found on the following website: https://cancilleria.gob.ar/en/services/visa/tourist-visa

• Valid Passport (Bio page) - (More than 6 months validity).
• Valid passport type photographs in color, 4 by 4 cm, front view and with a plain/white background. (To be brought on the day of interview).
• Form provided by the Embassy need to be completed and sent will all the other documents. (To be download as appears below).
• Yellow fever Vaccination International Certificate (page with date of issue).
• Round trip reservation (Recommendation: do not purchase tickets before obtaining the visa).
• Accommodation bookings or a legalized letter of invitation in Spanish (Soft copy to be sent with the rest of the documents and the original to be shipped to the Embassy physical address below). As an alternative option the invitation letter can be sent through the electronic TAD system. • Trip/Tour Itinerary.
• Travel Insurance addressed to the Embassy explaining on the amount covered overseas.
• Bank Statements, for an account to his/her name, three months to date, certified by the bank with signature and stamp and Verifiable.
• Letter from place of work stating that the applicant is an employee, and are aware that he/ she is/are travelling, signed by responsible person in original, and stamp (proof of existence of institution, contact details and position of signing person should be provided).
• Visa fee is U$D 150 to be paid on the day of interview (NON-REFUNDABLE). Required to be paid to an NCBA bank with the account name: EMBASSY OF ARGENTINA CONSULAR-FEE. More information on the same will be shared when the appointment is confirmed.

FULFILMENT OF ALL OF THE ABOVE REQUIREMENTS DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE GRANTING OF A VISA, WHICH REMAINS AT THE EXCLUSIVE OPTION OF THE ARGENTINE STATE.

NOTE I:

The visa applicant is required to scan all the above documents and send them in PDF FORMAT to this email address consulkenya@mrecic.gov.ar
Once all the documents are checked and approved, an appointment which will take place at the Embassy will be fixed in order to continue the visa processing.
The visa application process to visa issuance date should be within at least 45 days or more prior to your travel date.The process will only begin once the applicant provides all the documents as per the list, as failure to do so might delay your application processing.

NOTE II: Any Missing Documents or Inconsistence in Dates of Travel will lead to Delay in Visa Processing.

NOTE III:

A foreigner with a valid and active U.S. visa in categories B2/ J / B1 / O / P (P1-P2-P3) / E / H-1B in their current regular passport (6 months + validity), and who requires a visa to enter Argentina as a tourist, may choose between applying for a tourist visa at the Consulate or processing and obtaining an ETA (or AVE in Spanish) online.
