The Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to Kenya, Luis Levit, held a meeting with the Director of Phytosanitary Affairs & Biosecurity at the Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service (KEPHIS).

During the meeting, potential areas of cooperation between KEPHIS and Argentina’s National Service for Agri-Food Health and Quality (SENASA) were discussed, aiming to strengthen technical exchange on phytosanitary matters. Additionally, the procedures for the export of Argentine agricultural products to Kenya were reviewed.

This meeting reflects the Embassy’s commitment to promoting agri-industrial trade and enhancing bilateral cooperation in sanitary and phytosanitary fields.
