The Embassy of Argentina in Kenya had the pleasure of welcoming the adventurers of Travesía Africana as they passed through Nairobi on their 10,000-km journey across Southern and Eastern Africa.

On February 1st, 2025, Martín and Ricardo Franzosi joined us at The Wine Shop, embodying the spirit of adventure, resilience, and cultural exchange. Driving their iconic Citroën 3CV, they have adapted their vehicle with two steering wheels to adjust to the driving rules of each country they cross—a true testament of adaptability.

Their journey is an inspiring challenge, undertaken without the certainties of modern travel, yet fueled by passion and the desire to explore. As the Embassy, it was an honor to accompany them on this stop and celebrate their incredible expedition.

We wish them success as they continue towards their final destination in Cape Town.
