On May 21, 2025, the Ambassador of the Argentine Republic, Luis Levit, was received by the President of the Republic of Rwanda, Paul Kagame, to whom he presented his Letters of Credence as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

During the ceremony, both parties reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation, with a special focus on areas such as agricultural technology, air services, and technical assistance, within the framework of recently signed agreements between the two countries.

In 2025, the Argentine Republic and the Republic of Rwanda celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations.
